چکیده
Green mussels are marine organisms that threatened due to heavy metal pollution such as lead and copper in waters. In addition, threatening shell metals also a threat symbiont organisms. Bacteria exposed continuously will later be able adapt (resistance) contamination. This study aims determine the concentration of (Pb) (Cu) green from Lampung Bay test resistance symbiotic bacteria Pb Cu well conduct molecular identification type selected bacteria. research was conducted by analyzing content water samples then isolated using Luria Bertani agar adding concentrations, tested level which were added concentrations 100 ppm 1000 can no longer grow optimally. After that, carried out reconstructed see proximity. The results showed had exceeded quality standard classified polluted. Bacterial isolates resistant range 100-1000 100-700 ppm. Molecular samples, namely STL09 STL11, bacterial species Bacillus sp.

Influence of salinity on the physiological conditions in mussels, Perna perna and Perna viridis (Bivalvia: Mytilidae).
Perna genus was introduced to Venezuela, but nowadays, Perna perna and Perna viridis coexist and are commercially exploited from their natural beds. The aim of this work was to determine the effect of salinity on the physiological conditions of these species by studying RNA/DNA and Protein/DNA ratios. The organisms were collected from natural beds at La Esmeralda, Sucre State, Venezuela, and ac...
متن کاملCd and Se aqueous uptake and exposure of green mussels Perna viridis : influences of seston quantity
Trace metals are available to marine bivalves through uptake from both the aqueous and dietary phases. In this study, I sought to determine if there is any interaction between these 2 exposure pathways. The uptake of Cd and Se by green mussels Perna viridis from the aqueous phase was measured at different phytoplankton concentrations (green alga Chlorella autotrophica). Controlled experiments w...

The biokinetics of p,p'-dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) and its metabolites, p,p'-dichlorodiphenydichloroethylene (DDE) and p,p'-dichlorodiphenyldichloroethane (DDD), in the green-lipped mussel Perna viridis were characterized in this study. We exposed the mussels to DDT in aqueous or dietary sources and then compared and evaluated the absorption, accumulation, distribution and eliminatio...
متن کاملMonitoring of organochlorine pesticides residues in green mussels (Perna viridis) from the coastal area of Thailand.
The utilization of organochlorine pesticides for pest control chemical has been of great interest on residue contamination from biological organisms in the environment. Green mussel (Perna viridis) samples were monitored as bioindicators for assessment of the water quality in coastal waters along the Gulf of Thailand. Thirty-six samples were collected from 12 stations during 1997-1999 and analy...
